All the day I have been following the gruff
until darkness brought me to this shelter
that keeps my smell
I come back
betrayed
after a losing battle with myself
A day full of mistakes
still standing
healing my wounds
with loneliness
that awaits me with open arms
frigid
I slam the door
tightly
to let my grumpy out
Tomorrow I will be lucky
When the sun in my window will see
Wonderful ending…when the sun in the window I see:). Reminds me of a certain song:). Important to remember that all things pass. Wonderful poem:)
Yes David, you are right – all things pass, both with us..)
Thank you for reading it and letting me know your opinion… I appreciate.
We all have days like this … To let my grumpy out? … a smoke and a beer sounds good! … Ha! Ha!
Yes, but what about those that don[t smoke and dont drink? ))) This might be a fast solution but with an adverse effect ))) Thank you for your feedback, Bob.
nice little capture on a bad day but with a nice rebound.
It has to do with the resilience Don 🙂 Thanks again,
Leave the day behind and welcome tomorrow anew.
Maybe this is the issue :-))
🙂 You don’t want to leave it behind. I can relate,
